I was in Leh, when the celebrations held in Leh Ladakh, 2011. The day the entire market of Leh was decorated with banners and prayer flags. On the day of Losar, all the locals came to his traditional clothes and boy did they become large quantities. If I remember correctly, all the way to Leh market was crowded. There was a stage in the middle of the market, where popular Bollywood songs and Ladakhi were interpreted by a group of artists. It is certainly fun to be in Leh during Losar festival.
